Our history

One of Palm Beach County's Longest-Running Residential ALFs

Choosing the right home for your loved one means choosing stability. Built on RN Debbie Lytle’s 30+ years of nursing expertise, Amazing Grace is proud to be one of the most established, longest-operating licensed residential ALFs in Palm Beach County. We have spent over a decade perfecting our family-style residential care, combining an unmatched 1:3 staff ratio with the rigorous clinical oversight that corporate facilities simply cannot match.

2011

Debbie took a risk and opened her first residential assisted living facility

In 2011, shortly after welcoming her third child, a daughter named Grace, RN Debbie Lytle made a life-changing decision. Working as a hospice nurse, she had seen firsthand the heartbreaking lack of personalized care provided to seniors with dementia in large, corporate-run institutions. Knowing these families deserved better, she took a leap of faith and opened her first residential assisted living home—a sanctuary built on the promise of true dignity, expert medical oversight, and a loving, family environment.

2013-2016

Debbie hired her sons has, who started as direct care providers, and opened two more facility's

As the demand for compassionate, RN-directed care grew, so did Amazing Grace. Between 2013 and 2016, we proudly opened two additional residential care homes. To ensure our strict standards of excellence never wavered during this expansion, Debbie brought her own sons into the business. Starting from the ground up as direct care providers, they learned the profound importance of treating every senior with absolute dignity, cementing our legacy as a true, hands-on family operation.

2020-2022

With more managerial help from her children, Amazing Grace ventured north, opening two homes in Rustic Lakes in Palm Beach Gardens

By 2020, Debbie’s children had transitioned into pivotal managerial roles, ensuring the Amazing Grace standard of excellence remained flawless as the company grew. With their dedicated leadership, we expanded our footprint north, opening two beautiful new residential care homes in the serene Rustic Lakes neighborhood of Palm Beach Gardens. This expansion allowed us to serve more families while remaining fiercely independent, fully family-operated, and deeply committed to our signature RN-directed care.

2025

Amazing Grace grand opening in Wellington!

In 2025, we proudly opened the doors to our newest luxury residential care home in the heart of Wellington, Florida. This milestone expansion allows us to bring our signature 1:3 caregiver ratio and RN-directed medical management to even more families across Palm Beach County. Designed with both maximum safety and premium comfort in mind, our Wellington location continues our decades-long promise: providing seniors with unparalleled dignity, 24/7 clinical oversight, and a true family environment.
